Dr Cheng Jun is a gastroenterologist practising in Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
He specialises in performing endoscopic ultrasound and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
Prior to his private practice, Dr Cheng was previously a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist as well as a visiting consultant for the Singapore General Hospital. He was also a member of the medical advisory board of Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
He was the president of the Gastroenterological Society of Singapore and the vice-president of the World Organization of Gastroenterology. He was also a board member of the National Foundation of Digestive Diseases and the chairman of the Chapter of Physicians, Academy of Medicine of Singapore.
Dr Cheng has been an author in book chapters in the texts Management of Malignant Biliary Strictures and Management of Common Gastroenterological Problems, a Malaysia and Singapore Perspective.
He also carries out live endoscopy workshops for junior gastroenterologists and has served as a hands-on trainer and live endoscopy workshop moderator at the GIHep Singapore for 10 consecutive year.
